What could fit

Start with the work your company knows.

A business may have useful documentation from years of doing its work. Whether it fits a licensing opportunity depends on the buyer's needs and your company's rights to the material.

  • Processes & procedures

Company-developed operating instructions, workflow guides and training materials.

  • Technical documentation

Engineering explanations, product documentation and maintenance guidance.

  • Operational know-how

Quality methods, logistics procedures and service-delivery playbooks.

These are examples to discuss, not a request for files. Patient or treatment records, personal employee or customer records, credentials and confidential third-party material are outside our initial process.

How it works

A conversation first.
An introduction only with your say.

  1. Understand your business

We start with a high-level conversation about your operation and the documentation your company has developed.

  2. Explore potential fit

We're developing relationships with prospective data buyers. An initial conversation helps us understand your business and what a buyer would need to evaluate. Where current requirements are available, we use them to guide the discussion.

  3. Authorize an introduction

When a potential match is identified, we explain who would receive the introduction and what information would be shared. You decide whether to proceed.

  4. Your company reviews any offer

Your authorized team and advisers review the proposed terms. Any licensing agreement or data transfer follows the process agreed with the prospective buyer.

We stay involved to organize questions, coordinate next steps and track the introduction as you work through the buyer's evaluation. You manage the licensing decision with your advisers; we don't negotiate the agreement or handle the data transfer.

About Anchorline

For data buyers & partners

Tell us what you're looking for.

We're exploring independent sourcing and referral relationships. We'd like to understand your current data needs, company eligibility requirements and referral terms before approaching business owners.

We obtain a business's permission before making an introduction. We aren't representing a committed supplier pool.

Discuss a Sourcing Partnership

A few things to know

Before we talk.

Does Anchorline already have data-buyer partnerships?

Anchorline is an independent business developing its data-partnership service. We do not currently have signed buyer relationships. Any future relationship and applicable compensation will be explained before an introduction.

What does the initial conversation cost?

There's no charge for the exploratory conversation or high-level fit review. Our intended model is a buyer-paid referral or sourcing fee. Any separately paid advisory work would need an agreed scope and fee.

Should I send you files?

No. Start with a description of your business and the kinds of documentation it creates. We aren't offering file collection, dataset preparation, redaction, legal clearance or data transfers. If an opportunity progresses, your company uses the submission process agreed with the buyer.

Who decides what can be shared?

Your company does. Creating a document doesn't necessarily give you the right to license everything in it. Your authorized team and advisers need to review ownership, permissions, confidentiality and the proposed terms before any material is shared or licensed.

Is an introduction a guarantee of a deal?

No. A buyer may decide the material isn't a fit, and your company may decide an offer isn't right for you. We don't promise acceptance, a licensing agreement or earnings.

Start a conversation

Tell us a little about your business.

A short description of what your company does and the documentation it creates is enough to start.
